After breakfast, you will be picked up from your own booked accommodation in Arusha and proceed with Arusha City tour. Arusha is also known as the Geneva of Africa as termed by the former US President (Bill Clinton) in the year 2000 because it is considered a center for peace and reconciliation for the whole of Africa, its good weather and of course the tourism hub in Tanzania and East Africa.
You will get a chance to visit the center of Africa Arusha Clock Tower which is believed to be the center between Cape Town South Africa and Cairo Egypt, The Arusha Declaration Museum, The Arusha Natural History Museum, Local Markets, Railways Station, the Arusha Cultural House, Snake Park (if interested), Coffee Plantations and complete your day trip with a delicious lunch before driving back to your accommodation in Arusha.
The tour includes a forest walk around the rim of Lake Duluti, a canoeing trip on the lake, and a live barbecue experience by the lakeside. Along the way, you'll enjoy wildlife spotting, birdwatching, and scenic views of Mount Meru.
This is a full-day tour starting in the morning. You'll be picked up from your pre-booked accommodation in Arusha and driven approximately 15 minutes to Lake Duluti. The day concludes with your return to Arusha in the late afternoon.
During the forest walk, you may see forest and aquatic bird species, dik-diks, mongooses, lizards, and diverse trees and plants. The canoeing activity offers views of aquatic birds, serene lake scenery, and a backdrop of Mount Meru.
